High Quality Images:
A quality print starts with a high-quality digital image of the artwork. We don't need your original artwork, just a good copy sent to us on CD. Here are some tips for scanning your artwork:
- It is recommended that images be scanned at a minimum of 300 dpi
- Crop your image if you want it to fit standard framing and matt sizes.
- Do not adjust or enhance your image. (Contrasts vary on monitors)
- Save the image as a TIFF (.tif) file formatted for PC.
- Consider having your artwork professionally scanned, preferably by laser drum scanner for best results.

Printing:
The Epson 4800 printer uses a three-cartridge monochrome ink system - matte black, light black and light-light black - creating beautiful gray spectrums, so important to graphite drawing imagery. This system, using Epson's Ultrachrome K3 carbon and pigment inks, banishes the color-cast problems seen in many giclée prints, where the blacks often take on a greenish hue under a variety of lighting conditions. |
Archival Quality Papers:
The following papers currently in stock, and other papers are available to special-order:
- HAHNEMUHLE — Photo Rag 188gsm. A bright white 100% cotton rag, acid-free paper designed specially for fine art reproduction and is made to last for centuries.
- SOMERSET VELVET — Is an uncoated 100% cotton rag watercolor paper, mould made in Inversek, England. It is a popular paper and has a soft, elegant, medium textured surface. Archival rating for this paper is 65 to 75 years.
- BRADFORD RAG Natural White — A natural white, 250gsm paper that is 100% cotton rag. This paper does not contain optical brightners so the paper is much warmer in appearance.
- BRADFORD RAG Bright White — A bright white 250gsm paper that is 100% cotton rag and designed to offer brilliant whites without excessive use of optical brightners.

Pricing:
No minimum order is required. Your image is kept on file, and you decide the quantity as you need them.
- A one-time setup fee of $20.00 for each drawing. This includes one proof mailed to you for your approval.
- Shipping costs are additional and are based on the size and number of prints ordered.
- Print costs are based on page size with a one inch border margin.
